A woman was shot on the 7000 block of Morrison Road early Thursday

The shooting happened at around 2:40 a.m. on the 7000 block of Morrison Road, according to a preliminary police report of major offenses. The victim was in her bathroom when she was hit once by gunshots being fired outside her apartment.
The victim was later transported to a local hospital.
